What is a Kolej Poly-Tech MARA

College Poly-Tech MARA (KPTM) was established on September 1. 2003 as a Private Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) under the Private Higher Educational Institutions Act 1996 (Act 555).

KPTM managed by Poly-Tech MARA College Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MARA under the Companies Act 1965.

KPTM in established from 1 September 2003 to take over the operations of colleges under MARA Education Foundation (YPM) in Kuala Lumpur, Bangi, Kuantan and Kota Bharu.

Effective January 1, 2004, four (4) of MARA Infotech Academy in Ipoh, Alor Star, Batu Pahat and Kota Bharu has been absorbed into the decision MoHE ​​MARA Council.
